Since becoming a REALTOR® in 2016, my career has evolved in ways I never could have imagined. Starting out, I brought nearly 30 years of experience in investing, flipping properties, and owning rentals, which served as a solid foundation for my business. While that expertise was essential, my long-term relationships are truly at the heart of what I do.
Over the years, my commitment to providing consistent, personalized service has built a strong base of repeat clients, which I’m particularly proud of and is the focus of my services. My clients trust that I will always serve their best interests, and their confidence in me is reflected in their loyalty and referrals to family and friends. This trust is a tremendous honor that I never take for granted and fuels my passion for the work I do every day.
Authenticity has always been at the core of my approach to real estate. When I transitioned from the corporate world, I made it a priority to align my work with who I am and what I enjoy. This focus on being genuine in my business interactions has allowed me to build meaningful, personal connections with my clients.
In an effort to continue growing and evolving, I’ve expanded my practice beyond Orlando to new shores. Joining iad, a French brokerage that serves clients internationally, has enabled me to extend my real estate business to Spain and beyond, a place that holds a special place in my heart. As a Cuban American, I am fortunate that my Spanish-speaking skills make it easier to connect with my real estate peers and help clients who want to invest in beautiful Spain. We now have an apartment in Barcelona, and I travel back and forth throughout the year, blending my personal love for the country with my professional goals to help clients invest in a stable growing economy overseas and bring investors from many countries to Florida too. I really enjoy connecting with clients to create new adventures and look at real estate opportunities outside of the USA.
Over the past few years, we have certainly seen extremes in the market. We moved from the frenzy of the COVID real estate boom, where homes were selling at lightning speed, to a market that now requires more expertise and strategy to achieve the best outcomes. During this market shift, my adaptability has been key. By using effective global marketing and modern technology, I help my clients achieve the best price quickly and with minimal stress, staying ahead of the curve to guide them to successful outcomes.
I’m a strong believer that when you love what you do, it’s not work at all. I’m passionate about real estate and the opportunity it gives me to help others achieve their dreams and investment goals with ease and confidence. Looking back on the day I decided to leave my corporate career for real estate, I’m grateful for taking that leap—it has brought so much joy, meaningful relationships, and adventure into my life.
On a more personal note, I recently finished two terms as the president of the Orlando Garden Club, a role I greatly enjoyed. I’m very involved with the Native Plant Society and own a small business called Orlando Native Plants, which focuses on selling environmentally friendly Florida native plants. This has become a way for me to stay connected with my community outside of real estate while supporting causes I care about.
When not working, my partner and I love to travel, especially throughout Europe. I enjoy spending time in Florida’s beautiful state parks, gardening, cooking, and being a homebody with my cat and dog.
A driving force in my real estate journey is the concept of “home.” Everyone defines home differently, and I find it incredibly rewarding to help people discover what that means to them. Whether it's a condo in the city, a sprawling home with land, or a new adventure in another country, I love being part of that process. It’s not just about the physical property—it’s about the life my clients envision when they step outside their door. This has shaped my approach to real estate wanting to uncover exactly what my clients want and creating a plan to achieve it!
